Bad AZ-104
Certifcations
I am trying to pivot into cloud engineering and I am having a difficult time. The AZ-104 is one of the gateways to mastering Azure and it is whooping my behind.
I study. Watch videos. Take notes. Take practice exams and build labs, yet the knowledge to pass the test keeps alluding me.
It’s been a frustrating cycle but I am determined to push forward. I know that for myself, it takes a lot to learn. I’m not one of those people who can just grasp topics just by consuming it once. I have to beat the knowledge into my brain with studying over and over again.
And if you are like me, you’ve come to discover that you just have to keep going. It’s the only way forward.
What matters is that I don’t stop showing up.
It’s easy to get discouraged when you see others passing certifications in weeks or landing roles seemingly overnight. And trust me, I have seen it. People celebrate passing the same certification I am struggling but remember, comparison kills progress.
My pace is my pace, and it’s enough.
Every lab, every wrong answer on a practice test, every moment I push past frustration, that’s a deposit into my future skills account. Even if it doesn’t feel like it now, it’s adding up.
Struggling is teaching me more than cloud concepts. It’s teaching me patience. It’s teaching me discipline. It’s teaching me how to keep going even when the results aren’t immediate.
And that’s a lesson I’ll carry long after I pass AZ-104.
So if you’re like me, fighting through a hard certification, learning curve, or career pivot, don’t quit because it’s hard. Lean into the hard. It’s proof you’re leveling up.
Keep going! We’ll get there.
