So far, the launch of my app hasn’t soared to the heights I’ve envisioned. The attention on my app has dwindled, leads have dried up, but those facts haven’t led me to despair. Simply, just building the app and putting it out there has kept me quite happy.
I had a problem I needed to solve. Thought I could help others with it. Put my skills to use and built something I can be proud of, no matter if no one ever looks at it again.
So build.
I am even working on my second app.
Just build.
Forget the metrics. Forget the noise and ignore the lukewarm reception. If you've solved a problem, learned a new skill, and created something you genuinely believe in, then you've already succeeded.
Don’t worry if you’ll fail, because if that is all you ever worry about, you will never start. How do I know that? Because that is what happened to me. I fussed over every little detail, and I became paralyzed with indecision, and my app almost didn’t happen. Don’t let that happen to you.
Envision, and then start.
Worrying will take up too much of your time.
Just build.
Don’t worry if you are wasting your time if no one needs it. Don’t worry if you launch with a small bug. Don’t worry if you have no customers. Don’t worry if it will ever do well.
Just build, and the rest will follow.
